A plain-language summary of the data we hold and why. The full policy is being finalised ahead of public launch.
Your email and sign-in identity (via Clerk), and the flights you add — flight number, date, route, booking reference, and traveller count. When a flight is disrupted we store the disruption and the compensation we calculate.
To watch your flights, work out what you're owed, and tell you about it. We only use your data to run the service for you.
We use trusted providers to run FlightSense: Clerk (sign-in), Neon (database), FlightAware (flight status), Anthropic / OpenAI / Cohere / Pinecone (the AI that cites the law), Resend (email), and Sentry (error monitoring). We do not sell your data.
Compensation is calculated by AI grounded in the real regulation, and a person reviews every payout before we confirm it (GDPR Article 22). We never send passenger personal data to our error monitoring.
You can ask us to show or delete the data we hold about you. Contact us and we'll action it. Public share links you create show only an amount, flight number, and the cited law — no personal details.
